Even as a boy, Arjan Dwarshuis used his grandfather's binoculars to peer at birds. That fascination remained. The parental backyard became the entire globe. In 2016, he even broke the world record for observing as many different bird species as possible in one year: he counted 6,852! Arjan Dwarshuis makes the popular Vogelspotcast, has written several books and is an enthusiastic zealot for the importance of birds. He talks about flight techniques, food preferences, mate choice, migration, in short about the life of a number of birds and why they are so valuable for our nature and biodiversity. Afterwards, he will sign his books. In cooperation with Green Hub Twente.
