Citing with EndNote using general databases, reference software, module 1

Creating a paper with proper citations and a literature list, manually, can be tedious. Reference software can be a great help to help avoid errors. This workshop teaches you to work with EndNote. This module helps you to work with search engines from general search engines like Libsearch, Google Scholar, Web of Science or Scopus. Maintain your gathered references, connect them to full text documents and exports into Word. If you want to practice databases from your academic discipline, consider module 2. If you’re already acquainted with reference software, consider joining Module 3for more experienced users that want to learn advanced skills
You’ll learn to
- Create a database in EndNote;
- gather references from general sources Web of Science* / Scopus, Google Scholar and Libsearch
- link full-text articles to your imported references;
- import your sources into EndNote;
- order your imported references;
- export your sources to a Word document
