This course teaches data supporters basic knowledge and skills (essentials) to take the first steps in supporting researchers in storing, managing, archiving and sharing research data. After the course, you will have an overview of the different phases of scientific research data. For each phase, you will get tools to advise researchers on adding value to their research data.

The course consists of two days of face-to-face teaching, supplemented with online content and assignments. Upon successful completion of all these components, you will receive a certificate.
Costs for the full course (online + meetings + certificate) are 895 euro excl. VAT.

The course (in English) will take place on Thursday, 18 September (TU Delft) and Tuesday, 11 November (SURF Utrecht).
