Gephi is a versatile and open-source tool for working with network data. You can use it to explore and analyse networks and design attractive and informative network visualisations. Gephi is often used in the humanities, but can be useful in many other disciplines as well. During this online workshop, you will be introduced to the basic functionalities of Gephi, such as:

  • Importing and editing data
  • Using lay-out algorithms
  • Customising the appearance of your network graph
  • Filtering your network
  • Calculating statistics and metrics
  • Using temporal information (timeline)

After this workshop, you will be ready to use Gephi for your own studies and research. There will be plenty of opportunity to try out the software yourself.

The workshop will be held in English.

A Microsoft Teams-link will be shared a few days in advance.
