Community over Commercialization
Open Access Week 2023
Open Access Week 2023 is an opportunity to join together, take action, and raise awareness around the importance of community control of knowledge sharing systems.
Are you curious how to publish your work open, free, and equitable? Diamond Open Access is publishing open without cost for reader or author. In this panel session we will talk with three Diamond OA initiatives about the importance of community over commercialization. Is OA publishing without asking high article fees really possible and sustainable? And if so, what are the bumps in the road for journals that choose this equitable model? Why should you as a researcher choose Diamond Open Access?
Join us October 26th 12:00-13:30. Free lunch will be provided!
