A reading list helps teachers structure and share the course readings and materials in Canvas while also being copyright compliant. It gives students one consistent place to access their readings. The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is starting a pilot with VU Reading Lists, an application by Talis, to deliver course reading lists.

In this pilot kick-off session, we give a demonstration of the tool and explain more about the pilot.

VU Reading Lists:

  • Is an easy and intuitive system allowing teachers to create, edit, and arrange lists in the way that best suits the module and its students.
  • Allows easy access to readings for students and easily inform students what to read and when to read.
  • Integrates with Canvas.
  • Is copyright compliant
  • Helps request literature at the University Library
  • Allows sharing and collaboration.
  • Helps student access the readings via Canvas and manage their readings.

Via this linkyou can find an example of a reading list.

The event will be online.
