This course is for HPC workshop participants who are interested in learning the basics of Python before continuing with the workshop program.

By registering for this workshop, you will be able to participate in the first day of a Software Carpentry workshop that teaches Python for beginners. This workshop may be useful if you are not familiar with programming at all, or if you want refresh your knowledge on the basic syntax of Python.
