Create a database and export your citations properly into Word.

This interactive workshop provides you with the tools and knowledge you need to work with reference software EndNote. After the 1 hour workshop you’ll be able to use the software in your research, seamlessly create bibliographies, and easily cite your sources. You will be handed out a set of exercises and manual that fit your academic discipline.

If you’re completely unfamiliar with reference software and prefer a slow step-by-step approach, consider attending the light version of this workshop instead. Experienced users can attend the advanced workshop for more in-depth tricks & tools.

You’ll learn to:

•    create a personal bibliographic reference database;

•    import literature references from more specific databases from your academic field. like PubMed, PsycInfo or Bursiness Source Elite

•    link full-text articles to your imported references;

•    deal with duplicate records;

•    use references properly in your paper.

Workshop requirements

1.    To take part in this workshop, it is required to have EndNote installed on your laptop. Contact theIT service desk for more information or read more information on how to download EndNote on our homepage.

2.    You are expected to import references from Web of Science and Scopus into EndNote preceding the workshop and keep the library.
