Start working with Zotero immediately. After this workshop you have learned to:

• select the citation style of your choice;
• add publications and information about journal articles, books etc. to your Zotero library;
• manage your literature;
• cite as you write;
• create a bibliography based on your citations;
• search your Zotero library.

Necessary preparations

Make sure you have arranged the following:

• installation of Zotero on your device (https://www.zotero.org/support/installation);
• installation of the browser plugin (https://www.zotero.org/download/);
• if not installed automatically (like it should): installation of the Word plugin (https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation);
• optional: creation of a Zotero account (https://www.zotero.org). A Zotero account is not necessary to make use of Zotero, but with one you can make a backup of your data in the cloud.
