LEIbits || Leiden University Publication Bits: Communicate your research with Nanopublications!
LEIbits is a project created as a part of the inaugural GO FAIR Foundation Fellowship with support from the GO FAIR Foundation, Leiden University, and Knowledge Pixels.
The project aims to use Nanopublications as a means for researchers (from Leiden, other institutions, or the public) to (1) declare the existence of a research project, (2) register where research data are deposited, and (3) make a small statement about the research – and all with only a maximum of three key minimal metadata entries each with optional additions, such as domain and funding source.
By participating in LEIbits, researchers are communicating research knowledge in an easy-to-use, easy-to-replicate, FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) way, while contributing to a distributed network that allows querying across repositories, making data and research more discoverable.
